An A+ for this unit.
Prior to use.
Easy to register the product with instructions provided for igolf (for map & scorecard dowloads) and Bushnell (for warranty).
Ensure that your PC has the most up to date Java or product will remain at 99% when attempting to establish a connection to the websites required for warranty and downloads.
There is NO yearly fees for igolf due to this unit being an XGC+. All Bushnell (+) versions come with lifetime downloads (50 downloads per year through igolf).
In use.
The screen is amazingly clear, even with glare it is still easy to read.
The map interface is brilliant accompanied by a scorecard which is readily available at a touch of a button and scoring statistics.
The operation of the unit is simple and easy to get used to.
The yardage / meters calculations are amazingly accurate. Being able to adjust the aiming point to establish the prefered distance is just another added bonus.
I am absolutely impressed with this unit and rate it a 5* device.
*If buying this product from outside of USA I would advise on either buying a converter due to the current charger only allowing wall sockets compatible with USA power outlets.
OR
Use the USB cable included and charge through your PC.
I have used the USB option due to charging through a PC not taking very long. I did try to use a converter however the one I did buy "reset" the battery pack. Easy fix, remove battery from unit, replace and presto... it worked fine and charged through the USB perfectly.

Received and synced the device as soon as I got it.
Problems with Windows 7, but switched to an old Windows XP laptop and the process went swiftly. The course maps look good, and the device aquired sat signal quickly (a couple of minutes). Auto advance works well, but try to keep it on your fairway.
No problems viewing screen under all light conditions.
All in all a good gps for the money. Well worth the time and trouble.

Works great on the course. Had issues with getting the course maps. Internet Explorer does not work well on web site. So far on course is fine and need more time using the functions.
50 free maps, not sure what after that.
