What can I say about his movie that hasn't been said? Unless you've been under a rock then you haven't seen it. But let me talk about the things I liked about this movie. Samuel Jackson plays Nick Fury well. Scarlet Johansson did a great job as the Black Widow. I like the chemistry between Dr. Banner and Tony Stark. Iron Man did his thing in this movie. He risked his life and made some big plays to save humanity. My son liked it when Loki's suit changed. I really loved Dr. Banner, no - Hulks role in this film. That punch Hulk gave Thor was funny. I liked the fight between Iron Man and Thor; Captain America did his thing, too. I liked the scene with Captain America, when he gave the cop orders and the cop was slow to do it. Then when Captain kicked some Chitauri butt, the cop repeated what he said and got serious. I liked it when Black Widow had to get away from Banner when he changed into The Hulk and she was moving with the quickness. And I loved it when Banner rode up on his bike and said, "I'm always angry," and smashed that iron alien. I loved it when the team united and the real action started. They were doing some serious fighting in Manhattan! I loved it when Stark had to think fast after Loki threw him out the window and he deployed his new suit. I loved it when Iron Man flew the missile into the wormhole and the Chitauri stronghold was no more. And Hulk saving Iron Man after his heroic deed, nice. Oh yea, I loved it when Loki thought Hulk was going to bow down to him and Hulk thrashed him. That was so funny. There are too many great points to list. This movie has it all; good plot, great action sequences, funny scenes, and fantastic cinematography. It's absolutely fantastic! It's what you expect a super hero movie to be and more. This movie delivered and then some! You've seen it, you know the deal, I'm just saying what I liked about it; and that's everything! I think it's the greatest action hero movie of all time. I wonder if Justice League is going to be on this level. We'll see.
Best super hero movie yet. The batman movies are good but I wouldn't say that they anywhere come close to the recent marvel movies and this one is in a category on its own. The cast is top notch every actor plays their character very well. Mark Ruffalo takes on the roll of Hulk this time and as good as Edward Norton was in the last Hulk Ruffalo even does better. But for some reason the Hulk stories always have Bruce Banner in South America all the time hiding. This is the best comic Movie so far. The story is there as Loki is set to manipulate humanity and the Avengers on behalf of Thanos. This movie has a plot to it almost like a thriller how Loki works people against each other without them knowing it. You get to see almost all the Avengers battle each other like Ironman v Thor or Thor v Hulk. Watch as Loki turns the Avengers against each other from there inside Nick Fury's Flying Fortress which suffers the brunt of the Avengers battles. Watch as hordes of alien beings invade earth in an epic battle with The Avengers. All I can say is this is a must see it is the best action/super hero movie so far. It's a must watch especially for Marvel fans and Action fans
One of the most entertaining and well-filmed superhero movies in a long time. Most of the characters have trouble getting on the same page as they battle the devious Loki from Asgard. They soon pull it together, at least enough to defeat the enemy...for now... Awesome special effects and storytelling, a movie you'll watch more than a few times. The dvd looks awesome on a high-def screen, if you have a good size screen and good sound system, you're in for a treat....i can only imagine the quality of the blu-ray version. A film worth keeping in your home library. From Joss Whedon, the man who brought you Buffy, Angel and Firefly.
After 4 Blu-Ray viewings, I still love watching the entire movie. It's funny, it evokes emotion, and it showcases what a superhero movie should be like. It had character development for each hero, and it didn't feel like anyone was short-changed in terms of screen time. -----
This interpretation of the Hulk was a vast improvement over the previous two movies. Seeing Captain America on the ground giving orders and fighting made him more convincing as a former soldier than did the entire Captain America movie during which he was actually a soldier. I loved the interactions between Stark and Banner, and between Thor and the Hulk. Black Widow's interrogation scenes were among the best in the movie. And Hawkeye ... well, we see Hawkeye going around retrieving his arrows between fights, so he didn't really suffer from infinite ammo syndrome. -----
I bought this new with very little discount, and it's still been worth the money to me.
Hey guys, this was like, the most tubular movie that I think I have ever seen. I mean, I totally read literally every comic book as official research right before my midnight viewing in IMAX 3D of this feature film. I wore my Hulk fists and wore my Iron Man mask as I sat in the front row of this theatrical gem and squeezed my kitten that I snuck in during every climatic scene. I'm like, SO in love with Thor, yo. This was the greatest movie EVER! I stayed until the VERY last credit rolled and it was totally worth it. I watched this movie on my 3D-TV, even though I didn't buy the 3D DVD version, but it was still breathtaking. If you're like me, you'll go through at least 3-5 bags of popcorn during the first 20 minutes of the movie - it's that good. If you don't like this movie, then I pretty much don't like you, I'm that serious. Uh-Huhuhuhuhuh; you're welcome.
