Army Wives - The Complete First Season
Created: 04/15/10
Army Wives is an excellent movie about lives of deployed soldiers. I enjoyed the series so much, I plan to own each season. It describes in great detail the challenges I face and have faced in real life as a deployed soldiers wife. I love the characters they have chosen for this series. I can honestly say this series has brought tears to my eyes many times. For women whose husbands are deployed, this series is for you. Hats off to us all. Our husbands keep the country safe, and we keep things going at home. Even though times get tough and life is lonely we understand and we soldier on, just as our husbands do where ever they are stationed. I really encourage women from all walks of live to see this series. It is truly awesome. This is reality for the life and times of deployed soldiers wives.

Army Wives- The First Season

If you fell in love with any of the Army Wives season, the first one is a great way to get connected to the series. I started on season 3 and had to see where everyone began.
It's a great show for all those military spouses out there no matter what branch of the military your spouse is in.

I absolutey LOVE this show! It just makes me proud to an American. It also makes me appreciate the military and their families so much more. It's been some time since 9/11 and time makes people forget the reason our Troops are still over there. They are protecting our country and helping other countries at the same time. I know some would disagree with my opinion. This show also gives insight to what our military men and women go through but just as importantly what their families go through. The wives and children of each military personel are just as important as our troops. We owe our freedom, happiness, and welfare to these very important people. Unfortunately, the media doesn't want to show the general public any positives of the war only the negatives. Thank God for the creators of this show! I haven't watched any episode yet that hasn't made me shed a tear (and I'm not the crying/sentimental type). Most importantly-this show just reinforces the value of our family relationships. When I sat down to watch this DVD, my 4 children were away for the weekend for Mommy/Daddy time. I missed them so much that after just 2 episodes my husband and I requested our kids back from their grandparents. If you get the opportunity, this DVD is A MUST HAVE!!!

Army Wives, Season 1

I really began to watch Army Wives this year, season 2. I found the story they told intriqing and couldn't wait for each Sunday to pass so I could watch another episode and finish another part of the story. I wanted to see how the story began, how Roxy met Trevor, why Rolland cheated on Joan and with who, if the relationship between Denise and Frank was unkind like season 2, the relationship between the Holden's daughter, Amanda and Denise and Frank's son, Jeremy because in season 2 he says he's inlove with her. It was an amazing 5 disk story. Even with my one month old baby cutting into my sleep time, I found yet asnother reason to stay up all night, watching this story of Army Wives. I watched the entire 13 (I think), 1 hour episodes in 2 evenings! IT WAS THE GREATEST THING AND I EVEN LOVE TO WATCH THE RERUNS!

Great Series Shows Army Life As It Really Is Off Duty
Created: 10/08/08
I was raised in a military family and this series is so close to the actual crazy chaotic always active lifestyle that I remember. So often shows about military never show how things are for the family that is waiting at home for their soldier to return.... this series shows it all. Gives us a little taste of how it is for everyone. Great acting from some new names and faces... keeps you interested and anxious for the next episode. Great addition to any DVD collection.
