Lovely apple product, Better than candy, worth every penny,

I bought this iPod touch model because of it's capabilities. It is the beginning for the iPad, or that is how the iPad in my opinion how it got its start. It looks like the iPhone but has its benefits. FaceTime, YouTube, and the price. Out of all of the iPod touch generations, this one is the best, it is thin, longer, bigger screen, and the cherry on the cake is its variety. Whether online, Best Buy, Radio Shack, or even the apple store, when you see the colors, you will feel like being in a candy store. With similar products, like the shuffle, and the iPod nano, the colors will help with your personality, even on rare occasions with their category Red color. Apple's iPod line not just the iPod touch, is the original, tops Sony's Walkman MP3 player, and the Zune, with of course Zuri, it will feel like having a assistant with you, and you will feel like a celebrity. In my mind, if you want videos, FaceTime, tons of music, apps and Internet browser, than this is the product for you.

Great product overall, could be cheaper!

I bought this ipod only because I thought I wanted access to the apple apps, etc. I had the ipod Nano (2nd or 3rd generation) for years (at least 7). Nothing was wrong with the old ipod I simply decided to upgrade myself :) I do love my new ipod, some slight features that I had become accustomed to I now miss, but they are minor. The new Ipod is fast, has a wonderful battery life, but I don't do much besides listen to music and whenever I have the good fortune of Wi-Fi around I use the other apps. That is my only negative, most features ONLY work with Wi-Fi. so if you have wi-fi handy go for it, if not get a standard iPod and enjoy :)

5th Gen iPod is a joy to use.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She loves it and uses it everyday to play games, to look things up on the internet, to listen to music and sometimes to read books. It is so versatile and it keeps her entertained for hours. The only problem is tearing her away from it and getting her out to the park. But yes, this was a good investment and I would buy one again, probably for me next time. I already have the iPod 4th gen, but this 5th gen is so much better, the screen resolution is really remarkable and it is a joy to use.

Very useful gadget

It serves the purpose in small form factor and on the go product and I like that they threw video playback in though I doubt anyone will watch movies on small screen and with bluetooth functionality now . I brought it to carry all my music to hook up and listen in car.

Buy it. It's worth it.

I am very impressed. Period. It really has improved a lot compared to the last models. I hated the tiny screens! But for this latest model I really like the idea of the touch screen. It works just as well as an iPod Touch. I like everything about it, and the video quality is amazing. Relatively short battery life, but isn't too bad. My advice is charge it OVERNIGHT. It works super well if you do so. One thing I don't like about this iPod is that it doesn't have an external speaker like the iPod touches and that it doesn't have an alarm. You have to set a timer and calculate the time, which is very tiring. But seriously, the BEST PRODUCT I'VE HAD FROM APPLE SO FAR.
