|At just 9.3mm, the iPhone 4 is thin as a rake but the front and back are 30 times stronger than the usual plastic. Reason - aluminosilicate glass, the stuff that windshields of military choppers are made of. The periphery is customized alloy, 5 times stronger than steel. Your accidental dropping won’t hurt your pocket-communicator. The Retina Display packs in 4 times the amount of pixels (326 per inch) of iPhone 3, and makes the text and images slicing sharp. Thanks to the added 960 x 640 pixel screen watching of HD movies on the iPhone 4 becomes a gasp. When you become a shutterbug behind the iPhone 4 camera, you shoot 5 megapixel images and high-definition videos at 720p resolution, with the LED flash and autofocus that make things easier. Opt for the iMovie video editing software, and you become a movie maker. If you happen to have Wi-Fi around, the FaceTime feature gets you into true worldwide video chat and ‘staying in touch’ becomes real personal. And all it takes to choose between the front and rear camera is a tap. The 3-axis gyro, when coupled with accelerometer, results in 6-axis motion sensing, and that’s as good as it can ever get for gaming on a cell phone. With 7 hours of talk time (3G)/10 hours of video/40 hours of audio, the iPhone 4 packs in enough power to let you do fast multitasking and then some more.|

The iPhone 4 offers enhanced performance, a lovely new display, and an improved design. It also adds a ton of sorely needed features, both by itself and through the iOS 4 update.
Multitasking entails some trade-offs, and home screen folders are limited to 12 apps. AT&T reception continues to be spotty, and you'll need a case for the best calling reception. Also, we'd prefer a 64GB model.
With the iPhone 4, Apple again shows that it is a powerful player in the smartphone wars. It won't be for everyone, the call quality and reception vary if you don't use a case, and AT&T's network remains a sticking point, but the handset's striking design, loaded feature set, and generally agreeable performance make it the best iPhone yet.

I originally bought a Droid because the iPhone was not available with my carrier. I originally did not like the Droid because I was so used to the iPod. The android market and system has come a long way since its inception...oh two years ago.
When the iPhone was finally available for my carrier I dropped my Droid and got the iPhone. Right from the beginning I was dissapointed. Don't get me wrong. Its is not a bad phone pretty good actually, but once you Ger a taste of android its hard to switch. Firstly, the iPhone is way too small. I prefer the 4.3 screen of razor. Also the android app market is much better and has better selection of apps. I do like that there are some apps I have a choice of using rather than the so system imposed application; such as music player or web browser or text messaging.
After I got the new 4s I gave it to my wife and purchased a Droid razor. I have been loving every minute of it. Not one single complaint...except I wish there were better accessories such as a charger case.
Beware! AT&T have a policy of not EVER unlocking their phones for other carriers. I had to jailbreak this phone just to get the ipod functions and had to upgrade to IOS 5.01 when trying to unlock with a gevey sim. (phone "bricked")
There is no way to unlock IOS 5.01 at the moment making this an expensive Ipod touch. (I cannot use the phone function even though AT&T can't supply a service where I live)
Why apple and AT&T think they can stop people using technology that was legally bought from their customers is a mystery to me.
The iphone was received in a good time frame, but we almost right away started experiencing problems with the phone soon after activation if you are making a call it hangs up the first time you make it, it takes several attempts before your call will go through, and its not the carrier I Have an iphone and can stand right next to my daughter and my same call goes through 1st time! not sure I will ever purchased another electronic from ebay!!
1) a description of the phone "New" does not correspond to reality. films included were not, packing headphones was broken. dirt on the headphones from his ears). No scratches, but there is little dust around protrusions
2) a terrible, horrible packaging. just a few bags with air from one side of the box. free phone located inside the premises
I can not really rate this product as it did not work with my cell service provider, I was told it would work with any GSM Network, which was untrue, the IPHONE for itself is a great phone if you can use it, mine was advertised as unlocked when in fact it was not, so beware of what you purchase, I finally got myself an IPHONE 4 from the APPLE Store Factory unlocked, and working very well...it may have cost me more but was well worth, not having the agravation of gettin an issue resolved of which EBAY was instumental on getting the issue resolved....EBAY will definately look out for the Buyers, I have been buying from EBay for many years and it seems like all of a sudden I have been having problems, and they all stem from trying to buy a IPHONE 4...so all I can say is make sure you are checking things out before you buy...I have not had any other problems with over 400 purchases on EBay....there is always a few out there that misrepresent their products...thank you...
