The used Apple iMac (MA710LL/A) (17", 1.83 GHz, 512 MB, 160 GB) Mac Desktop I purchased was a replacement for the G4 that I passed on to my kids for gaming. I don't know much computer jargon but I am impressed with the ease of use and it's design. The OS ten is new as I was used to 9.2 but 'll get around that. My only concern is that the intel based mac which this one is cannot be used to play classic games of the 9.2 OS based systems. Other than that I can see a lot of uses and web surfing on this unit. 8 out of 10. Not bad really.
Now as to the sellers. I will say they are a great group of people that do stand by what they sell. Each time I called them they had the right answer and where more than helpful. 10 out of 10.
Super simple to setup. Literally took less than 2 mins to un-box, plugin, power-on and connect to the web via wireless connection. Been wanting one awhile and now that I have one I regret having waited so long.
Computer was in good shape with no problems. The hard drive had been swapped out with a smaller one.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of the Apple iMac Desktop. I have always had good luck with my ebay purchases and this one was equally successful. I bought the iMac because it is a nice compact computer that fits into a small office space. My other iMac no longer served my purposes. I couldnt afford a new one so i had to see if someone out there is helping those of us that like the Mac but can't afford the high Mac prices. Buying used and refurbished ones is my best route. I don't know what else to say about it except that i needed to upgrade to a newer version of the computer i already had
The webcam doesnt work as well i would like. it disconnects after about ten minutes. i don't use it often; but when i do; it is annoying to reconnect after a short period.
This computer works as well as all Mac computers- very nicely. Easy to use for those of us that are not computer nerds and need the bells and whistles; just a good dependable computer.

Well, at present, I've learned to always read the fine print to be correct. The iMac computer that I purchased was a good deal for me because, I budget myself before I upgrade. eBay is the right platform to sell an item and to get the best price on an item.
