I love this computer!! I am an art director and senior graphic designer, as well as the in-house photographer, and a photo enthusiast. This laptop is more powerful than my desktop machine and allows me to take it everywhere!! It is excellent for shooting tethered and has plenty of power and speed for crunching large files. the battery life is pretty good for just browsing the internet and using MS Office and so forth, but when doing memory intensive tasks like editing large posters, it comes up a bit short. Getting a few extra power cords to leave where you do the most work is helpful. All-in-all, an excellent computer and great value.
I love my mac book pro! I had the 13 inch when the new unibody was released and it has been a great computer. My old computer still works great but it was time for a upgrade, I wanted to try the 15 inch and am so happy that I made that decision. It is a perfect size screen for doing everything that I need done. the only problem is it didn't fit very well in my small dakine backpack. other than that it was the perfect brand, size and model choice.
Great machine from Apple! Includes a screen that is easy to read, a drive that allows for installs and CD playing and all of the ports that anyone would need. Though a little heavier than some laptops, it has everything that you will need.
I have been a PC user for a long time and now understand and appreciate the power of a Mac. There is no substitute, and the price is totally worth it!
This is my first Apple computer. I wanted the Macbook Pro for photo and graphic capability. What I've gotten is so much more. First, the computer is wonderful. I love the size and weight of the MacBook Pro. The display is brilliant and crisp. Second, Apple tech help is great. last but not least, it is a fast computer that can do so much more than my Windows based PC and faster too. I think I'm hooked!
