    Still a great buy and value for the money.

    My husband bought this laptop for me as a replacement to my Macbook 13" Late 2006 model. I love the big screen and the backlit keyboard. It came with OSX 10.4, I upgraded it to 10.5 but the real bummer is this laptop is too old to upgrade to 10.8. and if you don't have the latest updates, you have to buy the disks from Apple before you can upgrade to the latest OS. Thankfully the upgrades are only $29. I like to stay current with my updates but I really only use it for web browsing and light word processing. The other downfall is the ram can only be upgraded to 2GB, I tried putting in 3GB and it wouldn't turn on. It came with 1GB and I upgraded to 2GB and the speed was a lot faster when opening applications. The quality of the webcam for some reason is much better on this macbook pro than on my macbook. I got mine for $250 with free shipping and I think that is a steal even for the age of this macbook.

    I am very pleased with my MacBook Pro. The product has performed better than I expected. I was a bit leery about moving from a PC to a Mac but I am glad I did. This Mac is much faster than my PC and I like the features of the operating system better than windows. I would recommend this product to others.

    this computer is messed up

    cd player cd's get stuck speaker is broke, and countless other problems have to bring it into the apple store this seller should get sued

    The computer is great.

    The macbook pro is a excellent computer with awesome features. When it arrived, I spent the whole evening playing around and trying to learn more about it.
    I really enjoy itunes and organzining all my music and Safari works really well and the pages load faster then what i expected since it is and older macbook pro series. Im still learning about other features. I cant wait to use ichat and garage band as well as organize my photos. All in All it is a great computer and well worth it for the price.
