I used to build my own PC's and enjoyed making them fast and keeping them tuned. I used to run Raid 1 where 2 Hard Drives act as 1 to prevent data lose. I had no interest in a Mac, period. Then I saw a demo of "Apple's Time Machine" and it blew me away. Now with iCloud, it is like another world. At first I missed working on my PC. Running all the programs to keep it clean. I was living a lie. Now I use my computer to create and get things done instead of working just to keep my PC running.
I have been a MAC user for a long time. I own an iMac and a Macbook Pro.
Apple products are honestly made of top quality materials and they always last way longer than Windows. Macs have the fastest responding time and are very user friendly. Whatever you need is just one click away. The touchpad is really smart, too. Although there are many people say Mac is bad and expensive for no reason, it's because most of them have not used one for a while. You can use a mac for a long time without needing to restart it or shut it down. Also over the past years that I have been using Mac neither on my macbook pro and iMac it has crashed. I know it is more expensive than Windows, but it honestly pays for itself. Don't be afraid and invest your money on something that will hold its value for a long time and you don't have to be afraid of any crashes or anything. If you still need to use windows, you can have windows on it too! so there are no other excuses ;)
But seriously a mac will keeps its value always high. You can still sell a 6 year old macbook more expensive than a windows laptop that you but today!!
Just buy it, I guarantee you won't regret it. Don't listen to windows lovers, because they are yet to experience MAC!!!
I am an avid MAC user. I bought this computer for my daughter who is a Freshman in high school. She is home schooled and uses her computer for school work virtually everyday. She had a Mac ibook since second grade. It is still in excellent condition. However, it does not support some of the newer more robust programs of the newer MacBook Pros. After scouring eBay looking for a good deal on a 13" Macbook Pro I settled on this one. I thought it was a good value for the price. I knew I wanted Mac because I have always used Mac's whenever possible. They are extremely reliable. I have never had a major component fail in any of my Mac desktops or notebooks over the twenty years. I have owner various Mac products. Yes, they do get outdated! They just don't break or fall apart. I still have an old Apple IIC in storage, along with the old CUBE. Unfortunately, my daughters iBook is probably going to join the collection. My daughter is super thrilled with her new MacBook Pro. She is able to get to sites she needs to use for her school work, and because she can use the latest versions of programs like flash player she is able to view video to help her work on line. She is a figure skater and cuts all her own music using Garageband. She is most impressed with the speed of the computer over her old one. I think knowing how my daughter takes care of her personal items, this computer will last her into college years, no problem!! I forgot to mention for those rare occasions... No computer company has anything like Mac's Genius Bar in their stores. A real person to talk to who speaks a language I understand!
I've used it quite a bit so I can not just write something a lot of MacBook Pro.
I bought it because I heard it was great (it works quite fast and that his long does the battery). Macbook whom I got was not as good as it had a fault (no wifi and it worked once knew is off), and the battery no lasts 7h as written on the official site of Apple (I lasted maybe max. 4-5h ).
And when you compare it with other laptops, this is much better than others but again I think his price is a little too big and I think it would be cheaper.
As a mac guy over a decade i highly recommend to every one with computer knowledge or not to start use Apple computers notebook or desktop , no more crushes no more viruses
every thing work better.
this is state of art laptop very good for students , it's also not so expensive if you buy it in auction you can find great price for Mint Macbook pro , with the core i5 cpu and Intel HD Graphics , all of your daily task will complete easily and without problems
the battery life is amazing over 4 hours rapidly use , and over 50 hour's of standby
you can forget about turn the computer off thanks to apple energy saver
i highly recommend on this laptop , if you looking for the best value for your money this is the greatest choice.
