I've found this laptop to be so portable I use it more than my iPad now. It runs Mountain lion and all my programs smoothly, wakes instantly from sleep, and goes a long time on a charge. The keyboard is a pleasure to type on, and doesn't feel cramped at all. My only complaint is occasionally the fan kicks on to a noticeable volume, usually when I'm doing more processor intensive things like photo editing or shifting a large number of files/images around. I haven't regretted e purchase at all.
Bought my wife one for Christmas last year. I typically use a PC. Unfortunately not all programs are written for the Mac so I installed Boot Camp and Windows-7 Ultimate which runs very well. So I'm hooked now. I'm trading my PC laptop in for a MacBook Air and will learn the Mac side of things. The MacBook Air is fast and with an Intel CPU runs Windows native extrememly well. Apple even creates a driver disk so you can use the touchpad features on the Windows side. I upgraded to Lion then learned how to create an install disk then fresh installed Lion. The ability to port over applications (and of course data) from a backup of an earlier OS version (Snow Leopard) is outstanding. Never saw that on a PC.
The MacBook Air is one of the best computers I've ever owned, Even though it has a 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 4GB of RAM, it screams! Very portable and lightweight, Battery lasts around 5 hours. Totally worth it! If You want to buy one, Go ahead and buy it You are going to own an excelent computer.
It had more dents then as it was shown and described. Also computer freeze very often. The battery life unexpectedly very short. Need to carry charger and sit by the outlets all the time.
THIS IS A GREAT INVESTMENT FOR ME TALKING WITH THE SELL AND GETTING HIS HELP WAS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME I DO APPRECIATE THEM SO MUCH AND IT WAS THE BEST BUY FOR ME IT WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED.
