Apple MacBook Air 11.6" Laptop (July, 2011) (Latest Model) - Customized

Size/weight: smallest I've ever seen or used. smaller than a paper notebook. if you find yourself wishing your iPad had a keyboard and a slightly bigger screen, and maybe a little more power under the hood, the macbook air won't let you down
battery life: varies by use. if your gaming, like portal 2 (which I play on very high settings), your going to get less than 90 minutes. if you turn off wi-fi, and only edit text documents, you can push over 7-8 hours. realistically, with light to mid weight web browsing, apple's number of up to 5 hours is probably not that far off.
Performance: like i say, i play portal 2 and bioshock at or at near highest settings. I know they aren't the newest of games but the fact i can play these at near highest settings is enough to make me happy for a computer that is this small and light.
Value: if small light and fast are your criteria, you know your going to pay a pretty penny for it. The typical pc ultrabook starts at $800 while the macbook air starts at $999. what do you get for that extra $200? 1. Mac os X lion 2. tapered edges, makes the macbook air look even thinner 3. more CPU, some of the other ultra books seem to only have the 1.4 ghz core i5 instead of the 1.6 ghz core i5 and up to 1.8 ghz core i7 in the macbook air

Macbook Air a travelers dream. Beautiful, fast, and efficient like all the Apple products I own and have owned for 26 years. Just wished that Apple would be more conscientious regarding their manufacturing staff in China and elsewhere. Energy and environment conscientious is great, but human conscientious is top priority, and we can not have needy people getting poisoned manufacturing our stuff.

I want to share a couple positive comments regarding this laptop.
First of all the reason to buy it was as a remembrance of Steve Jobs. This guy was an innovator of our life. So, I do not want to explain his other perfect qualities in this review.
Next reason - this is my first Apple laptop. I planned to use it for browsing the Internet and watching movies/listening music. So, last time I used/worked in OS Windows, so MacOS is as a new exploration for me. And I observed that MacOS is rather simple, comfortable and smart. Needless to say about design and ergonomic. In reality it fantastic!!!

so far, from the little time I've been using it, this machine is fast, has everything I need, easy to carry around, and simply has everything I want in a computer. Excellent.
