Very nice machine. It is neither the fastest nor the highest capacity Mac, but for use at the front desk of a medical office, it is perfect. Runs all the latest software thanks to the Intel processor, and is plenty fast enough for word processing, scheduling etc. I would not recommend it for processor-intensive apps like Photoshop, but for everything else it's fine. Inexpensive, small, quiet... paired with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and a 3rd party (in my case Dell) monitor, you hardly know it's there. Five stars.
I got this computer to replace a like one that was out dated. I liked the dual core Intel processor . This computer is a work horse and will out preform other manufactures .
This mac mini with 2GB or RAM with Snow Leopard works well with the added RAM and should enough for application development.
If you are looking for a small inexpensive Mac or a move from a PC and Microsoft but not 100% sure, this is the way to go. Meets most needs for computing.
Ever plug in a new device and it doesn't work because you need updated drivers or something? The Mac Mini worked flawlessly, rght out of the box, with ALL my printers and other devices (including my Windows keyboard, mouse, and USB speakers). Easy to use, virus-free and quick...love it!
