Antz has Great Voice Acting and a Pretty Cool Story!
I finally saw Antz a week ago and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the acting was great and the animation was pretty good as well. Any animated film featuring the likes of Christoper Walken, Sylvester Stallone, Woody Allen, and Danny Glover is an animated film that I'll enjoy.
Although this movie might be a little much for younger audiences, it's a great movie for adults.
Final Verdict:
4/5
Rent or Buy?: After watching it once I don't feel the need to watch it again, I'd recommend that you rent first buy later.

Slightly more mature than Disney's "A Bugs Life" this film has a pretty dark plotline that involves lust, bullying, war, alcoholism, the financial caste system and mass murder, to name a few. Sounds dark, comes across well because they are cartoon ants which makes it acceptable for your kids to watch them get drunk at bars and decapitated during an ambush disguised as war created to have them killed. Sight gags, fart jokes and funny characters keep the kids interested and waters down the heavy content. Despite some mature themes the overall point is to get respect, power and the girl, and he does. Ooooh la la!
Antz is a really great movie redone for the "signature collection series" with an awesome cast of voice actors and superb animation-in fact MY DAUGHTER IS IN HER ROOM WATCHING IT AGAIN FOR THE 1,000TH TIME!!!
Great acting & great animation. Any animated film featuring the likes of Christoper Walken, Sylvester Stallone, Woody Allen, and Danny Glover is an animated film that I'll enjoy. You will too!!

Going by my daughter 1,000/5. lol.
So much better than Bug's Life. That was too childish for me. The jokes all were so canned and catered to an audience under the age of 10. Antz is much more enjoyable for adults and even though the animation is less "cute" the script is much tighter. Woody Allen is fantastic as always. Sharon Stone and Sylvester Stallone don't ruin it.
