Altec Lansing ACS 33 Computer Speakers

The ACS-33 PC audio system is not the best you can get. But considering that it sells on Ebay for between $10-20, they are certainly the best speakers you can get for that price and certainly beat out the cheap no-name Chinese speakers they compete with at that price.

Pro: great sound, decent volume, small size of speakers, nice design, well made
Con: no bass/treble control, subwoofer on the small side (but still plenty for office or bedroom use).

I put them in my office driven by my laptop and people came in wondering where the great sound was coming from and asking why my PC sounded so much better than theirs. $9.99 well spent.

These speakers are hard hitting and easily fill a room with the volume only half way up. The subwoofer sounds best when placed under a desk on the floor.

For a 2.1 30 Watt speaker system, this little beauty is suprisingly loud, clear, and excellent for the most basic of audio needs to the more demanding.

These are a great small office speaker. Very dynamic sound. Full, but not overwhelming bass from the sub, surprisingly good fidelity from the small-ish speakers.
Great price on these, makes it great value. They'll be part of my workday for the foreseeable future

I had a set of Alerc Lansing computer speakers. They really sound good. These speaker do sound loud but they do not have a base and treble control.
I purchaded a set of creative speakers and put these sperker to the side. The creative speakers won. I ben better of selecting another model that had to volume base and treble control

Very very happy with purchase. I purchased the speakers to replace my old ones and they work better than I thought.
