I was looking to replace a pair of speakers i had bought that were Altec Lansing speskers before. This particular model is not a very high quality system as far as the sound goes. Better than the laptop computer speakers but not not very good for add on speakersm, especially compared to what I had before. i could use for load presentaions adn such and these are not really adequate for a big audience.
The speakers are self powered, which means that they will function properly with any mother board. They have an easy to get to off/on switch for keeping things quite. The cable lengths are adequate for good speaker position placement. In comparison to other computer speakers I have used, I am very happy with the price and features of this product.
Small, Light weight, good sound reproduction, especially like the USB power supply. The appearance of the speakers matches my computer nicely. Easy to reach and manipulate volume and power control. Excellent price, speedy delivery. A fine addition to my office.
I bought two pair of these speakers. The picture shown is not the product sent. For the price they are fine in a pinch, but the sound is worse than tiney and crackly. In hindsight, I would not buy these again, as they are very poor quality, but, as always, you "get what you pay for".
