All About Trucks & Monster Trucks feat. Hard Hat Harry

Good dvd for kids containing two 30min episodes where a guy named "Hard Hat Harry" along with two kids get in touch with drivers and mechanical engineers in order to know how trucks work.

Only thing missing here is there are not enough actions scenes, I mean they could insert some footage of trucks on movement while they are talking about "horse power", or trucks turning on corners while explaining the power steering, and so on.

I also wonder if it is the same monster truck episode than the one on "Hard Hat Harry - Race Cars and Monster Trucks" dvd.

This DVD is so boring

My son LOVES any kind of trucks, diggers, or tractors so I thought he would love this DVD. It held his attention for about 20 seconds during the beginning when there were trucks driving around. The majority of the rest of this DVD is about a guy and kid showing the audience about the truck. Not what I was expecting. Maybe older kids like that... I don't know. All I know is it was a dud in my house.

I did find another one that he likes a lot more with more scenes of moving vehicles.

Not too bad..

I have two toddlers who watch very little TV and/or DVDs and I purchased this primarily to watch on a long car trip. They were interested in the different trucks but the acting and music could've been better. It doesn't seem to catch or hold their interest as well as some of the other DVDs we've purchased in the past. All in all not bad, but we've seen better.

A definite winner

This is the first DVD we have actually bought for my 2 year old son. Big sissy is not so keen on loosing some of her princess viewing time but even she will sit and watch and this. My 2 year old is actually arguing with her over this dvd because he wants it played all the time. He loves it and it is even helping him with his speech therapy. He is trying to parrot the sentences he hears. For that alone I love this DVD. I think the DVDs are great for their ages and teaches them a little about trucks as well. My son turns 3 in 2 months and will definatly be checking the reviews to see what else customers recommend for his age group.

Good fun for a month

My kid doesn't like it as much as the All About Cars DVD but is decent enough. Don't try to compare this show with top notch children shows. This show is supposed to provide an hour of fun for very young kids and that's it.
