Quality of set is remarkable

This set is one of the finest transfers to blu-ray that I've ever seen. Getting the theatrical release along with the special editions (director's cut for alien) is a great bonus. For those who like special features and extras this set is phenomenal. Past that, the box/container is very nice, simple and elegant. For a six disc set it takes up very little shelf space and the container is well designed to protect the discs.

Although only an opinion, the first two movies are among the best sci-fi movies ever done. The other two movies are not of the same caliber, but are quite watchable.

alien anthology blu ray disc

unquestionably this is the best blu ray release so far when it comes to special features. each film in the alien series gets documentaries, and those documentaries have excellent production quality. this is by far one of the best blu ray box set to pick up but worth the time to watch. also shop around for the best deal for blu ray.

The Premiere HD ALIEN release. SImple put; GET. IT. NOW.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Wow. Gorgeous digital transfers of both ALIEN & ALIENS. ALIENS has never looked better in my opinion. Bonus feature aplenty make the set a must for Xenomorph fans. The commentaries are not new for this edition, and some bonus content is recycled from other releases, but this is by far the most complete all-in-one set FOX has released of the series. I hadn't seen the Work-Print of ALIEN3 that is in this release, and it was also eye-opening.

The MUTHER mode is a bit... odd. The info text option can be hard to read with a very small font.

I did not pop for the limited edition "Egg" version, and picked up the standard book format edition instead. Discs fit in snugly and are easily removed without falling out.

A must for all alien fan!

If you like alien, this is the ultimate set you must have. It's the 4 movies + 2 bonus disc, also in blu-ray, of the making of the anthology.

A real anthology

The first epic film that I watched in a theater, the new scenes were amazing. I was waiting for this anthology since many years ago. Now, I’ve completed my blu-ray collection.
