Akai MPK49 Keyboard

I am a beginner w/midi and I got this keyboard with the plan of growing into it. It is a very nice/well made keyboard. It is sturdy and feels good. The pads (drum pads) are just okay, but the keys feel very nice. I was able to very easily sync it up to my computer, I am running Presonus Studio One software. I don't have another point of reference for midi controllers but as far as just plain keyboards go this one is nicer than what it costs. The one I bought didn't come with the manual but I was able to easily find it, print it and bind it all from Akai's website. It is a well supported product.

Great product, ideal for Ableton or Reason (other i dont use), my only complains is about mpc pads sensitivity, but this problem could be sold with the custom fat mpc pads wich u can buy on ebay or somewhere else. Im happy with this controller. 4 stars only because of the pads

I purchased the Akai mpk 49 about a month ago on eBay. One word to describe this controller... brilliant
