Movie synopsis
President James Marshall (Harrison Ford) is one of the most respected leaders in the history of America. When Kazakhstanian separatists commit atrocities on their own people, Marshall authorizes a guerrilla mission to take their leader, General Radek (Jürgen Prochnow), into custody and restore the democratic regime. In his speech afterward, the president vows never to let America hesitate again when dealing with terrorists. However, that's before a group of them, led by the ruthless Korchunov (Gary Oldman) take over his own flight on Air Force One, with his wife and young daughter also on board. President Marshall, a decorated Vietnam veteran, becomes a one-man vigilante force in his efforts to free his family and the other hostages, retake the plane, and thwart the hijackers. Director Wolfgang Petersen's thrilling film is supported by an excellent ensemble cast, which includes William H. Macy, Philip Baker Hall, and Glenn Close as Kathryn Bennett, the vice president who must hold the Cabinet together in Marshall's absence.

This movie is no exception to Harrison Ford's line of unforgetable movies. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire movie. Also stars a great supporting cast in William H. Macy.

Air Force One

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

The President of the United States, James Marshall, takes a tough anti-terrorist stance and then becomes a hostage himself when Air Force One is taken over by terrorists from Kazakhstan, led by Ivan Korshunov, who demand the release of their fascistic leader General Radek. The President seems to escape from the plane in an emergency capsule yet is actually hiding on board. He silently kills a member of the terrorist group before establishing contact with F-15's to engage the hijacked plane. As passengers escape by parachute, Marshall is captured by Ivan and forced to release General Radek, setting in motion an international incident. This movie thrills you constantly. Tightly constructed and with precious little humor.

Harrison Ford at his best!

If Harrison Ford ran for president right now, he would win hands-down. This action-packed thriller is full of exciting twists and turns and international intrigue. Ford, like so many other roles he's played, owns the role of President of the United States. He demonstrates the courage and conviction to inspire an entire country and beyond. From start to finish you're drawn in and entertained. I didn't even want to pause it to take a bathroom break! :)

Patriotic Suspense Thriller

Harrison Ford and Glenn Close make this move a box office thrill. The action, adventure and suspense keep you standing by for the next move. Gives an idea of what it must be like to be in the President's shoes. Excellent movie in any form!You won't regret watching this movie.
