I bought the club to replace one lost in my set. These are very forgiving irons and should be a strong consideration for higher handicap players. They allow you to get the ball up in the air quickly, while offering good distance.
These clubs are very reasonably priced, and provide a hybrid type club in the longer irons that are amazingly easy to hit.
This is a great club! I lost mine somewhere sometime ago (Don't drink and play golf). I had been using a tour Lies PW as a temporary replacement and decided to try and find an Adam's Club to keep my bag consistent. Long story short, I'm more accurate with this club but I wish there had been a regular flex graphite shaft available when I got this one. Adams golf wouldn't sell me a single replacement club. They told me I needed to buy a complete set. So I thought I would check out ebay. Perhaps I will one day have this club re-shafted, but until then I'm going to keep hitting greens in regulation with this one.
Great club. this has worked out to be the most consistant weapon in my wifes bag. Since she started using these woods we got her the entire adams idea iron set. I think that speaks for itself.
I like all the clubs I bought using the single idea iron-I could not pay for a complete set and still play golf 2-3 times a week. I have used them all and so far they are great. Adams clubs to me have a wonderful feel. I did get one club that says made in China and I try and stay away from anything made in China. I will be calling Adams on this subject today.
I purchase a set of irons missing the 6 iron. The club fits in perfect and is a nice club. It is easy to use and was very reasonable.
