This is the best android tablet I have worked with. I have used the ePads but disliked the battery life on both, also, the touch screens were not easy to use.
This Asus tablet has a long battery life; I've been running off a single charge for 47 hrs and am finally down to 38% battery charge. That is also with WiFi left on most of the day at work, but off at home. The touchscreen is very easy to use; it has more of the feel of the Droid 3 screen. The virtual keyboard is very easy to use.
I like the metal case design; this is much sturdier than the epad. Also, it has a nice weight to it.
The sound quality is great. The cameras (fron and back) have good resolution.
I have seen the Apple iPad and tested in the stores, but I like the Asus Transformer. The fact that I can use my apps from my previous android machines on the Transformer and my music without going through iTunes.
If you are looking for the best "bang for your buck" this would be the tablet to go with. The major selling point for me was the battery life. with reasonable daily use, I normally charge it every 2-3 days. The 3.2 software is very easy to use, the hardware runs it smoothly. I haven't bought the keyboard for it yet but I hear its a must have to almost double the battery life. The screen is very bright and detailed. Videos run great on it and the MyLibrary is great for ebooks even if the files are PDF, it takes the up and down scroll of PDF and make it feel like page turns. 1 Major downfall of this tablet thought is the onboard sound. the left speaker (same side as the power/volume button) seems to be way more dull in sound than the other. I mostly use headphones when I need to listen to something just because its really annoying having the right side be much louder. other slight things I noticed that are annoying, the cameras video record framerate is a bit slow and when using swype, the extreme lag of the pointer trail but that might just be a setting change.
Excellent product that I took a chance on after scoping them out on another site. Vivid color and communicates with the router no prob. Its like having a small light television that I use to watch movies and listen to music on. Only issue is than you have to prop it up so thinking seriously thinking about buying the keyboard that attaches to it. Unlike the iPad,this device has Adode flash. That was a major selling point to me. My daughter has an iPad which cost twice more. I like this ePad better because of its Android OS.
This is a quick, sleek and light weight item, nice touch screen and easy to understand. Good value for money and accessories are cheap if you shop around!
I had previous an ipad 2 wif and sold so i can get a familiar product and keep 300 dollars into my pocket :)
Eeepad is a little heavier from the ipad.apart from that it has a stereo sound speakers , a better screen , way better connectivity(sdhc card, usb, mini hdmi) and gps.
Now that ICS is coming to this product everyone says that the experience with this product will become way faster and better.
I love my eeepad.
the only think that miss from the ipad are the enormous amount of games and that there are not a lot of cases for it.
