) While the AMD processors are generally a performance notch above the older Intel alternatives with the AMD 64-bit architecture, the dual processor TL-60 was a nice upgrade recently to a Compaq V6000 which needed a new motherboard (S1 socket of course).

Bought this as an upgrade processor for an HP dv9000 laptop with an AMD cpu. The original processor was a 1.6Ghz. I upgraded the laptop for resale. I have found that having a processor of 2.0Ghz or more increases the street value by about $50. I purchased the "TL-60" for around $10 so it was a good investment.
The only thing I would want more of out of this processor is speed. Obviously, I would need to buy a different more powerful processor for that. This one works well and reliably and is faster than the original.

) I use AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-60 - 2 GHz Dual-Core (TMDTL60HAX5CT) Processor two months and is very happy. I was afraid that it will be heated, but it not so, average temperature of 48 degrees on Celsius. Before at me was AMD Turion 64 МК36 and I not how many am not sorry that have changed it on AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60.
This product is a little old in terms of computer standards, but can work.

This product is decent, if you don't spend much for it in order to upgrade a laptop computer. It will function well for average, daily use at home or in a business on a laptop.
