|Add a rare piece of history to your exquisite collection of coins with the 1908 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle coin. Made up of 90 percent gold and 10 percent copper, this $20 Double Eagle coin is 34 mm in diameter and weighs 33.44 grams. Having a legendary design and being the last gold coin used for regular circulation in the U.S., this $20 Double Eagle coin is one of the most sought after coins. Redesigned by the famous sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, this gold coin was earlier minted with the motto “In God We Trust”. This motto was omitted on the request of President Theodore Roosevelt, as he did not believe in inscribing God’s name on coins. The omission of the motto on the 1908 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle resulted into a public outcry, due to which the Congress had to restore it. A value addition to any vintage collection, this $20 Double Eagle is a piece to treasure.|

Though double eagles have less than 1 oz of gold, they still can be useful in a portfolio because their value rises with gold and they don't go down as fast when gold declines.
ONLY BUY PCGS or NGC certified gold
I all ways wanted to own a Saint-Gaudens $20.00 gold coin.I think I paid a fair price and the coin is beautiful with no marks.I hope to buy the $10.00 Saint-Gaudens next. Now is the time to buy these gold coins.I believe the prices will be going up very soon.
Best way to hold value outside of a bank. Beautiful coins, one of the best investment margins for gold.
