|If collecting rare coins is your hobby, then this 1925 Indian Head Quarter Eagle coin is an absolute must-have. Made from 90 percent gold and 10 percent copper, this $2.50 denomination gold coin is 18 mm in diameter and weighs 4.18 g. Designed by Boston sculptor Bela-Lyon Pratt, the obverse side of this Quarter Eagle coin bears the bust of a Native American chief in a full-feathered headdress with the word ‘liberty’ and 13 stars etched around him. The reverse side of the 1925 Indian Head coin showcases a bald eagle standing on a bunch of arrows while holding an olive branch in its left talon. Interestingly, these designs as inspired by President Roosevelt and Dr. William S. Bigelow were recessed into the surface of the gold coin, contrary to the convention of raised features. What’s more, possessing greater monetary value than face value, this Quarter Eagle coin represents a good investment option.|

If you like collecting coins, gold is one of the best to collect. It usually holds its value and they are works of art. If you don't like collecting coins, then it is not a good idea to buy one of these.
I bought this coin because I had always wanted one to add to my collection, I watched these coins for quite a while and it was a nice coin for a great price. I was very happy with the beauty of the item purchased, and thought it was a very good purchase. Compared to others on the site was a steal for the quality of the coin. Overall couldn't be happier with my purchase.
This coin is a piece of American History. It is also still considered legitimate money by the U.S. Goverment. Considering how the modern day currency is being inflated, this coin should maintain its buying power while the modern day money is being devalued. They sure don't make money like they used to!!!!
I buy a variety of gold for my own reasons and have included this in my collection for it's beauty and history. This coin is beautiful and affordable and would recommend anyone wanting to buy gold to start with a coin like this and then keep trying to get one every month.
