Product description
Product Information
Being an antique piece of History, this 1901 Morgan Dollar represents a good investment option. Made up of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper, this Morgan Dollar is 38.1 mm in diameter while weighing 26.73 grams. Tracing its roots back to the Mint Act of 1873 and the Bland-Allison Act of 1878, this 1901 Morgan Dollar has great historical significance. Named after its designer, George T. Morgan, this silver dollar is a part of the Morgan Dollar series that was minted from 1878-1904, and again in 1921. Interestingly, as a representation of liberty, this Morgan Dollar depicts an American woman, presumably Miss Anna W. Williams who was a schoolteacher from Philadelphia instead of the usual Greek–style figure. Own this rare silver dollar and revisit its rich history!
