Ah, the Morgan dollar, one of America's most loved and recognized coins. A great design and silver content of .77 oz in each coin makes them high in demand. True collector's search for choice uncirculated specimens and no honest numismatist will tell you they have never dreamed of owning a complete date and mint mark set. While 1883 saw high mintage numbers from the Philadelphia and New Orleans mints, lower mintages at the San Francisco and Carson City mints still puts those 2 Morgans on the "must have" list.

The 1883 Morgan dollar in any MS state should be a part of any Morgan dollar collection. Looking at the history of the 1883 CC Morgan dollar, I believe it is the number one CC most likely to increase in value over the next decade or two.

Nice mint state 1883 morgan with nice satin luster average strike though, still very nice. Morgan Silver Dollars are wonderful investment and with China raiseing the price of silver I dont think you will be sorry.

The 1883 Morgan that I purchased is a CC mint from Carson City. Super nice MS 64 PL for a total of $185! What a deal! It "Greysheets" for $235! NICE!
