I am putting a morgan dollar collection together, so I got this coin for the set. But, I am a silver coin lover, especially the morgans or cartwheels. So far I'm only 8 coins away from completing the set, and I haven't spent a fortune doing it. With silver on the rise, I'm having fun and investing at the same time. I love a shinny BU coin, but at the same time, I enjoy looking at a circulated coin and wondering who could have held this coin 100 years ago! If you enjoy history ,you can't go wrong with morgans.

A year or so ago I started looking at some method of buying a little silver or gold. I decided on silver coins. What better way to buy silver than US coins. Not only does the value increase with the price of silver, but also as collectors look for certain coins. I like the Morgan better than the peace dollar, but will buy either from time to time. I give these often to grand kids at birthdays and Christmas as some little gift to put into their sock.

Nice, but not Great Morgan. I am buying more for silver content as a hedge on inflation. Morgans OR Peace dollars will serve this purpose. so I look for BOTH at good prices.

I bought this dollar to finish out my set of circulated dollars. I went with all circulated dollars, I call it a Morgan dollar collection, "Coins with history". I can look at each coin and think about the history of them and where they have been.

Changing worthless $ into something of real value!

I purchased this coin, it because it was a very good value for the money I paid for it and a good investment for the future! As a hobby, in my spare time, I like to look for what I consider a good deal in silver coins and in gold coins as I know that they will always have some value - unlike our “ dollars of today “. History has clearly shown that no paper money last more than +/- 200-250 years - as it has no real value - because it is no longer backed by gold or silver, and hasn’t been for years! It’s value is only in the “ minds “ of the public.
