Why buy silver Dollars?

I purchased a fairly low grade 1890-O mainly for it's beauty, but more for the silver content. Rough and really nice Morgans have about the exact same silver content, so why not go for a cheaper one? The rough coins are basically bullion anyway so buy according to your taste. Morgans are great as bullion. Buying on ebay is nice because there is no sales tax to pay, at least not as of yet. Silver, a good hedge for the future.

morgan dollars are great..but there are so many other u.s.and mexican coins that have just as great art work, silver content, and are much cheaper..don't get me wrong i own many morgans...it's just there are so many other cool and interesting silver coins to see, collect, and these gems will go up in value,as morgans get to expense to buy,in high grade...check out trade dollars, mexican dollars(silver)...and older non silver, and silver coins..from other countries..

Morgan Silver Dollars, Always A Great Choice!

 | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Collecting Morgan Silver Dollars is a great idea for several reasons. First, the silver content is always a good investment these days, with silver value on the rise, it's sure to gain in value just for that reason. Also Morgans are one of the most popular coins for serious collectors, so you'll always find people interested in purchasing, if you want to sell. Graded Morgans are especially popular with US buyers, and the values of these great old coins are steadily rising due to increasing demand. The value of this particular Morgan (an 1879-O) has increased by 40% in the past decade! Morgans are a sure way to make a smart investment and the beauty of these coins is an added plus!
The design is beautiful artistically, and is a symbol of American patriotism. You really can't go wrong getting a Morgan Silver Dollar, and an 1879 is a key date for many collections.

Whow: When I can buy a product that is in perfect condition and 133 years old. And the product is graded by a respectable grading company. A silver Dollar 1879-S PCGS MS65. Silver at $34 an ounce makes the coin worth over $26. What will the price be when the price of silver goes over $160.00?
