Silver is often called a poor man's gold. You won't be poor buying silver.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

When you buy a Morgan, it's an investment for the future. These coins go up in value. You don't lose money. I like the 1878 Morgan. It's the first Morgan in a series of them and they come from a number of mints. The 1878P, a Morgan without a mint mark, is the Philadelphia minted coin.
More silver news is here. Ebay helps with listing Morgans and many silver coins. Mint mark (S) San Francisco is found on the American Eagle side, as well as New Orleans (O). Good hunters can find very nice Morgans on Ebay and the price can be affordable.

1878 Morgan Silver Dollar - Iconic part of the collection

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

The 1878 Morgan Silver Dollar is an iconic coin in that there are so many variations of it. At the basic level there is the no mint mark coin created at the Philadelphia mint, and the S mint mark created at the San Francisco mint. And the illustrious CC mint mark created at the Carson City mint. Then there are variations of the Philadelphia minted coin that really set it apart: The eagle on the back can have 8 tail feathers, 7 tail feathers, and there is even one called 7 over 8 tail feathers, where some of the tail feathers actually appear to overlap other tail feathers. Then there are two version where the feathers on the arrowheads are slightly different. These are called reverses. The costs of this years series of Morgans are not expensive compared to some of the other years. Even the 1878 CC is in the affordable range. So have fun and get the entire series collection of 1878 Morgans.

The coin, the history & the help you need to acquire it.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I buy & sell coins as a fun relaxing hobby that's also an investment for my daughters future. I bought an 1878 Morgan, well several because it's the first in the Morgan family & I always try to buy the first & last in any coin series & then buy the best, lowest mintage coins in the series & try to upgrade as I go. Also in 1878 there are several varieties. Also I love to buy error coins & in 1878 when they minted the first coins people complained about the eagle having an odd # of feathers. The mint put 8 tail feathers & that wasn't correct so they changed the dies many times ending up with several variety's. Also I love to think about the history of every coin I buy; where the coin has been; who might have had it from one time to another; Whether it might have been in an outlaws hand & what wars it might have been in. In school I hated history & since I've been collecting I've learned so much more like remembering dates of wars & so on. Thanks to ebay it opens many ways, people & options for obtaining any coin , grade & the fun of the chase for obtaining any coin needed. A great hobby with many nice people I've learned from & got talk to. So many nice people willing to work with you to help give you the information u need to acquire every coin I could ever need. Thank U to ebay & my fellow ebayers for all the Help. A 5 star place with 5 star people!!!

A must if you are collecting Morgans.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought the 1878 Morgan because I was putting together a full set of Morgan silver dollars. It was a good experience, very nice coin and a good price. Why would you not buy at least the first year coin? It is recommended to all.

Value in small wonders

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bough the 1878cc NGC VF-30 to add to my growing collection of Carson City Morgan Silver Dollars. I actually prefer the circulated coins between grades F-12 & XF-35, because these coins have "Strong Vibe". They have been in the hands and lives of Americans that lived over a hundred years ago. They speak volumes by virtue of their mild wear.
A coin that has been in a bag at the back of a bank vault for over a hundred years has "No Vibe" by virtue of it's uncirculated near perfect condition.
Purchasing a coin that has been examined and graded by a professional numismatic grading company such as the NGC gave me the confidence and satisfaction that I was purchasing and authentic coin.
yes I would perchase again as I love owning and looking at these small wonders filled with value.
