About Red Vs Blue
Do you enjoy the amazing graphics from Halo? Then check out "Red vs. Blue," the fun science fiction web series made by Rooster Teeth Productions. The series is primarily made by using recorded gameplay footage from the Halo series of videogames. This technique of using videogame footage to make a series is considered a form of machinima. The original "Red vs. Blue" web series was only intended to be a few episodes but the release of the initial episodes was met with such success that the creators decided to expand upon the story. The first part, known as "The Blood Gulch Chronicles," follows the military action between two teams: a red team and a blue team. The teams are based in a box canyon and engaged in what is thought to be a civil war. Each team exists as a response to the presence of the other. "The Blood Gulch Chronicles" spanned five seasons to make for 100 episodes in total. The Rooster Studios later brought the "Red vs. Blue" series back with a trilogy of seasons known as "The Recollections." The three parts of the trilogy are each one season long and they are named "The Reconstruction," "The Recreation," and "The Revelation." The popularity of the "Red vs. Blue" series has led the group at Rooster Teeth Productions to make special web content and release the series on DVD. They also gained the opportunity to work with the team that makes the Halo videogames. "Red vs. Blue" is a fun series with a lot of laughs that any fan of first person shooter games should get a kick out of.
