About Phineas and Ferb
Phineas and Ferb is a hilarious animated comedy about two stepbrothers that find new innovative ways to make every summer vacation day a blast. The show first aired in 2007 on the Disney Channel as a preview, only later to become a hit show by 2008. Children everywhere tuned in to find out what the duo would be up to next. From building a roller coaster, to hosting a rock concert in the back yard, Phineas and Ferb know how to have fun. Their success of never being caught is enough to drive their sister, Candace, wild. She makes it her goal to try to show her parents some of their schemes, only to be foiled time and time again. All of this, while their pet platypus Perry doubles as a secret agent to battle wits with evil villain Dr. Hezi Doofenshimrtz. The creators of the show, Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swamy" Marsh, had worked together at Nickelodeon on the animated t show "Rocko's Modern Life." The fun creation of Phineas and Ferb was a 16-year journey, from a drawing on a napkin to finally being secured by the Disney Channel. Other than being known for their hysterics, the show has won four Emmy nominations for its enjoyable music. Even years later it is a popular animated show on the Disney Channel, in fact as Of December 7, 2012 the show officially became the longest running Disney Channel Original Series. The shows creativity seems never ending as the boys continue to surprise fans with newer and greater ideas t beat summer boredom.
