Even in its 26th year in 2013, The Bold and the Beautiful has continued to be an intriguing and riveting drama. Centered around the love lives of two families, the wealthy Forresters and the destitute Logans, this dramatic soap opera examines a multitude of relationships, rivalries, home and family life, and more. The Bold and the Beautiful has retained several of its key actors and actresses that were there in the very beginning, while adding new faces for the audience to enjoy. You can admire the glitz and glamour of the Forresters as they live it up in Beverly Hills, but also experience their hardships, from alcoholism to family deaths. The beginning of this 31-time Daytime Emmy winner shows aspiring fashion designer Eric Forrester marrying Stephanie Douglas; but soon, Eric’s ex-girlfriend, Beth, and her sister, Brooke, come into the picture and complicate Eric’s and Stephanie’s marriage. Throughout the seasons, we see the children of Eric and Stephanie grow up, and become involved in their lives as they fall into adulthood. The show also focuses on Eric’s fashion rival, Spectra Fashions, headed by the impressive and eccentric Sally Spectra, who has a bond with Stephanie Forrester that changes and evolves as the show progresses. Another person with a bond to Stephanie is introduced along with Sally Spectra: Massimo Marone, Stephanie’s college ex-boyfriend, who introduces even more drama and tension into The Bold and the Beautiful. A sister show to The Young and the Restless, viewers can enjoy watching some of their favorite characters crossover, meet, and interact.
